JIMMY GNECCO

Jimmy Gnecco was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, a small, skinny, white kid with the voice of an angel, albeit one that can scream really loud. From an early age music was intensely important to Jimmy. He started playing guitar on the tail end of his BMX career, and has been writing, recording, and touring almost nonstop ever since. After releasing three albums with his band OURS, Jimmy joined forces with Bright Antenna to make his first solo record called The Heart, a poignant, ultimately positive work of melancholy beauty. In 2011, Jimmy released The Heart: X Edition, which features nine selected tracks from the original album redone with a full band, plus one exclusive song.
